Full Moon in Taurus

Unshackling Our Soul

🌹

Recorded on the Full Moon in Taurus - we were guided to open our minds to new perspectives, to look within one self to comprehend who is self?!

To unshackle ourselves from old identities, belief systems and conditioning that has us caged in our own minds.

It felt like a heavy metal detox of the old armours that hold us in fear with the lack of self worth- moving through all layers from the physical, emotional, mental and energetics - the leaden low frequency emotions of shame, guilt and fear, lead and mercury,

What is beautiful was the deeper reflection of the channelled transmission, how I initially felt the Mercury was the poison to be extracted from the body, yet upon reflection it is the very carrier that binds to all that isn’t pure - to bring to one’s awareness, to alchemise, process as our inner gold, and then release.

This was the process it took us on - the dissolving of old identities, patterns, conditions, generational and Soul lineage, to thus rebuild from a foundation of our Divinity within bone, skin, blood and DNA

This is powerful Somatic Quantum Alchemy

With love,

Gemma

TRANSCRIPT

Welcome, beautiful souls. Welcome to everyone joining us tonight as we record this live, and to those who'll be listening at some point in the future, whenever that's aligned for you.

The beauty of these somatic quantum channelled meditations, or whatever we want to call them, is that they're timeless. We move through the heart as we do this, and through the heart, through the portal that is consciousness, there is no time. We can connect to the past, we can connect to the future. We connect to all that is within the portal of the heart.

So, this is being recorded on the full moon in Taurus.

And it's not just that on its own. There's so much more going on as the backdrop to this full moon. Taurus is ruled by Venus. Venus has touched back into Libra, but she's been retrograde since the beginning of October, in Scorpio, the sign ruled by Pluto, and she's been joined there by Mercury. We are navigating the underworld. We're on the final loop.

Venus is really important with this, because she rules Taurus, and it's about love, self-worth, embodiment, the divine feminine and abundance. It links to what was shown to me at the new moon earlier this year, which was about the sacred union of the divine feminine and the divine masculine. The feminine was calling the masculine back. Earth is calling the divine masculine back.

And we do this through our bodies, both male and female. There really isn't much differentiation between us. Even if we see a female body or a male body, we still have this essence that is the divine feminine and the divine masculine. These paradoxes are a union, and both need to be present to coexist. So there's no differentiation, whatever gender you are.

What was being shown back then was a kind of curse, I want to call it, because Medusa was in there. It was to do with the obsession of love outside of self. That's been the journey of the last six months until now. It's been showing me what we think love is, and what unconditional love actually is.

It's been getting right into the unconscious and the subconscious. What is love, actually? And where do we abandon ourselves? Maybe love has felt like security. Maybe it's felt like acceptance that we've needed. Maybe we've had to perform for it. Maybe we've needed to be needed, because just us, in our pureness of who we are, wasn't shown as enough. Something had to be done to be loved, to be seen, to be accepted.

So all of that has been coming up through the pot to be looked at, because it's always taking us back to the truth. We are beings of unconditional love, and this journey here is about remembering that. All our relationships, all our mirrors, have been there to remind us and bring us back to our truth.

But because we haven't done this consciously, because we've been doing it in soul amnesia, how on earth are we supposed to work it out? At some point, we do. The mirrors were showing us where we're out of alignment and where our beliefs are incorrect. When we recognise we're energetic beings, we see that our interface of life reflects us.

If we can recognise that mirror, mirror on the wall, what it's showing us is the patterns we're carrying that aren't serving us. At some point we come into a conscious understanding that takes us out of the victim, the suffering, the scarcity. All that toxic soup humanity has dwelled in for quite some time, which has been amplified and cranked right up to the max by the cost of living crisis and by all the media heightening the fear in the collective.

So we're also having to practise heart discernment. What is actually our truth? We slow down and connect into ourselves, in the present moment, in our hearts, to discern what is true and what is not. Not what our senses are telling us, not what we've been told. This is a deeper truth we're seeking, and it comes body up, not head down. That's the journey we're doing through these practices: awakening the conscious wisdom inside us that's already there, already alive, already creating us. We bring our heart and our mind to that consciousness, like two Cs meeting in equal balance.

There's nothing that needs to be attained outside of us. It's about awakening and remembering that it was already within us.

So we're going into the murky depths of the unconscious, the subconscious, the generational patterns. That's the Scorpio link. Venus is literally going through the last throes of generational patterns that go back nearly a hundred years. A lot of that links to when we gave our power away, around the First and Second World Wars, when industry and commerce really started ramping up. We had the financial crisis, and Taurus, the bull, shows us that side of things: the finances. And through those wars and what came out of them, we gave away our sovereignty even more. We're here on this journey to free ourselves, to free our souls, and to reclaim our sovereignty and our power.

And to know that fear is the part that takes us out of the truth of who we really are.

Okay. There's quite a lot I've shared there. Don't expect yourself to process all of it. When the mind tries to understand, we block things. So this is a practice of acceptance, and then trusting that the understanding comes through later. Like I say, this is body up, not head down.

It's your body that holds the discernment of what your truth is. When it processes and releases what isn't true, it will show you and reveal it to you. You'll suddenly have that aha moment. You'll suddenly realise where you've been giving your power away, through fear, or to somebody else, or to an expectation of love. All these little revelations will make their way through, in their own grace. Nothing can be forced in this practice. Just because we want something doesn't mean it will happen. We have to allow ourselves to soften, and give trust and grace to the practice.

This is the feminine way. This is where we're shifting back to, because we've lived so long in a very heavy masculine direction. And even though that might sound unfair from a masculine perspective, what we're really talking about is the patriarchal system, not the masculine. The masculine equally deserves every right to be in the feminine, to be in creation. The matrix, the patriarchal system, looks like it has simply supported men, but it hasn't. It's separated men too, and so it's separated men and women, which hasn't served anybody.

Okay. So, taking some breaths. Everything I've just said, just let it go off into the ether, wherever it needs to go.

Everything in these channelled transmissions is an invitation. It's always about you connecting into your body and what feels true to you. The more you do these practices, the more you'll know your truth: what feels good and what doesn't.

And when it doesn't feel so good, ask the question: is that fear? Or is it discernment, telling you this isn't in alignment for you? Or is it resistance coming up to be seen for what it is, and for the gold that it is? Every time something comes up, give yourself space to be compassionate and curious with it.

This is when you really start to become the alchemist in your own journey, where you're able to transform and process. Know that any resistance is also gold. So whatever comes through, be with it, sit with it, acknowledge it, and then thank it for shifting and releasing however it needs to.

Reflective Journey

This walks through the transmission stage by stage, in the order it came through, weaving in the science, psychology and old wisdom that support each part. The science is here to ground the experience, not to prove it, and where research is still debated I've said so.

The whole journey follows the alchemical arc: the blackening (lead, shame), the whitening (silver, acceptance) and the reddening (gold, love), with mercury, the messenger, moving us through.

Arriving: you are a miracle

We began by remembering the miracle of our own conception. The egg doesn't simply wait for the fastest sperm. Through frequency, it chooses. Science is catching up with this: a 2020 study from Stockholm University and Manchester found that the fluid around human eggs attracts sperm from some men more strongly than others, and not always the woman's own partner. The old story of the strongest sperm winning the race is being rewritten as the egg making its own choice.

Every one of us arrived through a pure match in divine timing. In the Sophia teachings, a spark of the divine lives inside matter. Our birth isn't an accident of biology. It's spirit choosing form.

Stepping out of autopilot

We moved out of the daily grind: getting up, brushing teeth, going to work, shopping. A large share of what we do each day runs on habit, handed over to automatic circuits in the brain so we don't have to think about it. That saves energy, but it also means we can live whole days without being present for them, and stop seeing the beauty around us.

The early Gnostic poem the Hymn of the Pearl tells this story. A prince is sent to a foreign land to fetch a pearl. He eats the local food, forgets who he is and falls asleep. That's soul amnesia. What wakes him is a letter from home, a messenger.

Hands on heart, breath into the belly

Palms on the chest, thumbs on the breastbone like a butterfly. Big belly breaths. A hand on the solar plexus, giving the tangled knot room to breathe instead of pulling at it. Growling, sighing, letting sound out.

This simple posture is now backed by research. In a 2021 trial, people who placed a hand on their heart and a hand on their belly after a stressful task had lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and it worked as well as a hug from someone else. Slow breathing with long exhales, and using the voice through humming, sighing or growling, both engage the vagus nerve, which runs through the throat and calls the body into rest and repair. Polyvagal theory describes how the nervous system is always scanning for safety, and only once it feels safe can we move out of fight, flight, freeze and fawn and into healing. You can't think your way there. The body has to feel it.

The navel: what is mine and what is not

A thumb resting in the navel, following where it wanted to go. Thanking the body for its discernment of what is pure and what is not. Asking which energies, voices and beliefs in the body aren't ours, the opinions forced down as truth, starting at school, where we were told what to think rather than taught to listen to our intuition.

The gut has its own nervous system, with hundreds of millions of neurons, often called the second brain, and it talks constantly with the brain along the vagus nerve. Gut feeling is physical, not just a figure of speech. Gestalt therapy even has a word for beliefs swallowed whole without chewing: introjects. We take in a parent's or teacher's voice before we're old enough to question it, and later mistake it for our own. Discernment is learning to chew, to taste what we were given and let go of what isn't ours.

Who is self?

We questioned the identities, egos, beliefs and patterns that feel safe only because they're familiar. Is there one truth, or many? We became the curious observer of self, and even asked who that self is.

Modern therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy teach this same move: noticing that you're the one who has thoughts, not the thoughts themselves. Simply observing a pattern, rather than living inside it, loosens its grip. It's also the heart of gnosis, which means knowing, a direct inner knowing rather than belief handed down. The Gospel of Thomas returns to it again and again: come to know yourself, and you'll find the kingdom is within you.

The willow of light: choosing new pathways

Walking through strands of light like a willow tree, each strand a thought pattern, an old version of self. Seeing them from the outside, we realised we can choose not to follow them. We aren't victims of the patterns we were born into.

This is neuroplasticity in action. The brain's pathways strengthen with use and weaken without it, so each time we notice an old pattern and choose differently, the new path gets a little easier and the old one a little quieter. Viktor Frankl wrote that between what happens to us and how we respond there's a space, and in that space lies our freedom. The willow is that space made visible.

The body lets go of bracing

The body softened and exhaled, almost collapsing as it let go of all the ways it's been holding itself. Twitches came, and gurgling. The mind popped up to say "you need to stay here", and was thanked rather than fought.

Peter Levine, who developed Somatic Experiencing, noticed that animals shake and tremble after a threat to discharge it, and that humans often override this. Twitching, trembling, yawning, tummy gurgles and sighs are now recognised as signs of the nervous system releasing and moving into rest. The voice that pops up is what Internal Family Systems therapy calls a protector. Protectors work hard to keep us safe, and they soften when they're thanked rather than pushed away. That's exactly how the transmission met the mind: honour it, it has brought you here.

Silver moonlight dissolves the rocks

Old patterns were brought into the silvery light of the moon to dissolve into the waters of the body. Hardened parts of self, like rocks and roots that couldn't budge, slowly softened and integrated as wisdom and emotional intelligence.

Our bodies are around 60% water. Gerald Pollack proposes that water in living tissue forms a structured, gel-like layer he calls EZ water, which holds charge and responds to light. His work is still debated, but it offers a picture of the body's waters as alive and responsive rather than inert. In alchemy this is solutio, the dissolving, and the albedo, the whitening under the Moon. What was hard becomes fluid so it can be reshaped. Silver's frequency is acceptance: we stop fighting what's there, and it loosens.

The heart taps the glass

Choosing peace in the heart brought order to trillions of cells that had been shouting in different directions, creating procrastination, doubt and exhaustion. The heart was like someone tapping a glass at a dinner table. Silence, anticipation, then the cells moving as one wave, the way the moon moves the oceans.

HeartMath research describes this as heart coherence, a state where the heart's rhythm becomes smooth and regular, and breathing, blood pressure and nervous system rhythms tend to fall into step with it. The heart's electrical signal is the strongest rhythmic field the body produces, many times stronger than the brain's. And the Moon really does move the tides through gravity. One strong, steady rhythm can bring a whole system into flow.

The rose and the stem

We opened a full moon orb of silvery light in the heart and softened into the back of the heart, where we brace. The heart as the root of the nervous system, like a rose feeding into its stem, neither separate from the other. The spine softened and popped, making space for light to move.

The heart is the first organ to function in the embryo, beating about three weeks after conception, while the neural tube that becomes the spine and brain forms right alongside it. They really do grow up together. The body's connective tissue, the fascia, is one continuous web wrapping everything, and the collagen in it and in our bones is piezoelectric: it produces tiny electrical charges when it's stretched or pressed. Softening and moving literally change the body's electrical conversation.

The armour comes off

The crown opened and released old rusty bolts and springs, like a robot whose brain had blown. There was a heavy metal helmet around the cranium and a heavy padlock on the throat, old suits of armour you couldn't breathe or move in. Shame, guilt and fear were cleared energetically, emotionally and physically, and the armour dropped to the ground.

Wilhelm Reich, a student of Freud, called this character armour. He saw that people hold suppressed emotion as chronic muscular tension, mapped in rings around the body, including the eyes, jaw, throat and chest, and that releasing the tension often released the emotion with it. Lead is Saturn's metal, the planet of walls, structure and defence, and right now Saturn is retrograde in Aries, the sign of the head, reviewing exactly the kind of armour shown at the crown. This is the nigredo, the blackening, where what's heavy is faced.

The violet flame and the mercury

The violet flame was called in to melt resistance, without fighting. Then came mercury of old, liquid like water, pooling around us, magnetised and gathered. It drained out through the nervous system, spine, coccyx, sciatic nerve, the soles of the feet and the skin. The earth held a pool of iron and mercury, and knew what to do with it.

In alchemy, the burning is calcinatio, and the sorting of pure from impure is separatio, the discernment the body kept being thanked for. Mercury is the messenger, not the poison. It binds to what isn't ours, carries it, and then leaves, just as in gold mining mercury draws the gold out of the rock and is then driven off, leaving the gold behind. Hermes is the guide of souls, the one who moves freely in and out of the underworld. And in the Hymn of the Pearl, once the prince wakes, he strips off the soiled garment he wore in the foreign land and leaves it behind.

The body also has its own real routes for clearing what it doesn't need, through the liver, kidneys, gut, skin and breath. The physical clearing in the transmission is offered as something to notice and allow, alongside the emotional and energetic release.

Deflation, then regrowth

There was a sense of deflation, as if only skin was giving the body form. Then a white light, then golden light, grew from the heart through the veins and blood. The spine became a ladder of extension. Buoyancy came: still touching the ground, but no longer dragging the weight. Grace in every step.

This is the rubedo, the reddening, the gold. In the Hymn of the Pearl, the prince puts on his robe of glory and recognises it as his own. In the Sophia story, Sophia falls through separation and rises again through union, and here the body rises from the heart. Research on post-traumatic growth shows the same pattern in human lives: after a real breaking down, many people rebuild with more meaning, closer connection and a stronger sense of self than before. The collapse makes room.

Joy as currency, seeing what was always there

The seeds of purpose began to awaken, with joy as our currency. More colour, more choices. Paths that were always in front of us suddenly became visible, and we could laugh at how we never saw them, because our brains weren't looking for them.

This is well supported. In the famous gorilla study, about half of the people counting basketball passes completely missed someone in a gorilla suit walking through the middle of the game. We see what we're looking for. Barbara Fredrickson's broaden-and-build research shows that positive emotions like joy widen our attention, so we notice more options and possibilities. Fear narrows the field. Joy opens it.

The circle of doors and the dharma wheel

We sat in a circle as many doors opened, like old shed doors falling open to reveal light. There was no rush. We felt into each path until one felt truly aligned, then made a conscious choice, like ordering from the menu of the universe. The eight-spoked dharma wheel appeared, and circles turning like the dials of a safe until everything lined up and opened.

Antonio Damasio's work on somatic markers shows that the body's felt signals are what guide good decisions. People who lose access to those signals struggle to choose at all, even with their reasoning intact. Asking "how does this feel in my body, open or resistant?" is how decisions actually get made well. The hub of the wheel is the still point that turns everything without moving. Sitting at the centre and choosing is sovereignty.

Coming home to the body

Hands on the body, a golden hug from behind: I've got you, you are loved, you are enough. We stroked the arms, massaged the hands and gave the body appreciation. Then we tapped the temples, under the eyes, nose, chin, heart and armpits, and brought the palms together at the third eye and then the heart, balancing left and right, feminine and masculine, moon and sun, earth and sky.

The skin has special nerve fibres, called C-tactile fibres, that respond best to slow, gentle stroking at about the speed of a caress, and they signal to brain areas linked to calm and emotional safety. Slow stroking of the arms switches them on, and the same 2021 study showed a hand on the body lowers stress hormones. Tapping on acupressure points, as in EFT, has a growing body of trials showing reduced anxiety and stress, though researchers still debate exactly why it works. The words matter as much as the touch. Kristin Neff's self-compassion research shows that speaking to ourselves with warmth lowers shame and builds resilience. Shame was where we began. "You are enough" is where we end.

The whole journey

We began with the miracle of being chosen into life, and stepped out of autopilot into the body. We gave the nervous system enough safety to let go. We met the mind as a protector and the ego as a messenger. Silver moonlight dissolved what was hard, the heart brought the cells into one rhythm, and the armour of shame came off the head and throat. The violet flame softened it, mercury carried it out, and the earth received it. What remained was gold: a body regrowing from the heart, seeing more, choosing from the still centre, and held in its own arms.

Lead to gold. Shame to love. Through courage and acceptance. The science shows the body was built for this. The old wisdom says we already knew.

Don't Shoot the Messenger

A deeper dive into what this transmission showed me - it has become a fundamental jigsaw piece to the greater puzzle that is revealing itself, through this work.

This Sacred Conscious Embodiment work with Men and Womben, running within the timings of holding the live Embodied Divine Masculine container, a journey of the shadows of separation.

This piece of writing was formulated by AI however fully prompted by my reflections and insights

🌹💠🌹

Mercury isn't the poison. It's the messenger that carries it out, as long as we let the messenger leave.

In this transmission I was shown heavy metal leaving the body: armour dropping, liquid metal pooling and gathering, the earth taking it. When I sat with it afterwards, the old alchemical metals opened up as a map of how we move from shame to love.

  • Lead is shame.

  • Mercury is courage, the movement.

  • Silver is acceptance, the washing.

  • Gold is love.

The alchemists called the stages the blackening, the whitening and the reddening. Lead sits in the black, silver in the white, gold in the red. Mercury is what moves us through all three.

Lead: the armour of shame

Lead is Saturn's metal. Saturn rules structure, bones, walls and defences. Shame works the same way. It builds a casing around us that once kept us safe and ends up keeping us shut in.

In the transmission it showed up as a heavy metal helmet around the head, a padlock at the throat, and old suits of armour you can't breathe or move in. Shame, guilt and fear, worn like protection.

Notice where it sat: the head and the throat. Mind and voice. Those are Mercury's own places. The armour was clamped exactly over the parts of us that think freely and speak our truth.

Mercury: the courage to let it move

Mercury isn't another rung on the ladder. It's the movement between the rungs. In alchemy it's the solvent and the messenger. It's volatile and fluid, it won't sit still, and it travels between the heavy world of lead and the radiant world of gold.

Emotionally, that's courage: the willingness to feel what's actually there and let it move. Shame contracts and hides. Courage lets itself be felt and be seen.

In the transmission, after the violet flame softened the armour, mercury appeared as liquid, pooling and gathering into itself, magnetised and collected. It drained out through the spine, the coccyx, the sciatic nerve, the soles of the feet and the skin. The body kept showing its discernment of what is pure and what is not.

Here's the part that stopped me. Mercury itself is toxic. It's not the cure in a tidy sense. The alchemists knew this and saw Mercurius as double, both poison and medicine, saviour and trickster. Mercury is neutral and mobile. It goes anywhere and binds to anything. What makes it medicine or poison is whether it keeps moving.

So mercury isn't the toxin. It's what binds to the toxin and carries it out.

Silver: acceptance and the washing

Silver belongs to the Moon and to the whitening stage, the washing and purifying. It isn't love yet, but it clears the ground so love can come in.

In the transmission the silvery light of the moon dissolved the hardened rocks inside us into the waters of the body. Old roots that felt like they couldn't budge began to soften.

As a frequency, silver is acceptance, or forgiveness, its active form. It's where we stop fighting what happened and stop fighting ourselves, and the shame has nothing left to cling to. Silver is also the mirror: seeing ourselves clearly without flinching.

The old name for mercury was quicksilver, living silver. What I saw pooling may well have been both: the silver work of purification, moving in mercury's fluid way. Under a full moon in Taurus, with the Moon exalted in an earth sign, the earth simply took it. As I said in the transmission, she knows what to do with it.

Gold: love, and how mercury finds it

Mercury really was used to get gold out of rock. Miners crushed the ore, poured in mercury, and the mercury bound to the gold and drew it out. Then the mix was heated, the mercury evaporated off, and pure gold was left behind.

That's the shape of what came through: the flame, the mercury gathering and leaving, and the gold remaining. It's why I say resistance is also gold. Mercury finds the gold buried in the hard material and carries it out. Then the mercury has to go.

In the transmission, once everything had drained, there was a kind of deflation, just skin giving the body form. Then white light became golden light through the veins and blood, and the spine became a ladder. The body grew back from the heart, lighter, buoyant, still touching the ground but no longer dragging the weight.

It ended with a golden hug from behind: I've got you. You are loved. You are enough. Shame at the start, love at the end.

Don't shoot the messenger

Hermes is the only god who moves freely in and out of the underworld. He's the one sent down to bring Persephone back. He's also the trickster and the thief. He can cross into the dark and come back because he doesn't belong there. He doesn't stay.

The ego works the same way. It's the part of us that can go down into the shame, the old patterns and the generational stuff, gather it up and bring it into the light. That's its gift. It becomes a problem when we mistake the messenger for the message, when we say "I am the shame", or when it holds onto the load because carrying feels like safety.

So when the mind pops up during practice, it isn't the enemy. It's mercury doing its job. Honour it and thank it. It has protected you all this way. Then ask what it's carrying, and let that drain into the earth rather than settle back into the cells.

The discernment is twofold. First, recognise what the messenger is carrying. Then, let the messenger go once its work is done.

Right now Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio, down in the underworld alongside Venus. Venus's descent echoes Inanna, stripped of a garment at each gate until she arrives bare. In this transmission the armour fell away piece by piece in the same way. The difference is that what we're losing is the false protection. What's underneath is the miracle we already are.

Mercury turning back isn't a malfunction. It's the messenger going down again to collect what was left behind, so it can carry it out. Don't shoot the messenger. Just don't ask it to stay.

The observer and the mirror

Mercury binds without becoming. It picks up gold, silver or whatever it meets and carries it, but it stays mercury. It forms a bond, not a new identity. That's the observer: it can hold anything without turning into it. Discernment is its great versatility.

Old mirrors were made by backing glass with a mercury mix. Mercury was literally the reflecting layer. So the messenger is also the mirror. It shows us what's there without claiming any of it.

That's where we get caught with the ego. The ego is the messenger of what is false to our divinity: the fear, the shame, the old pattern. That's useful information. We get stuck when we attach to the message and say "this is who I am," rather than "this is what's being shown to me." We mistake the reflection for the face.

The ego itself isn't false. What it carries can be false to our divinity, but the messenger is just doing its job. That's why we thank it rather than fight it. The attachment is the issue, not the ego.

This is the curious observer of self. Mercury is present, versatile and unattached, able to move through everything because it doesn't belong to any of it.

Deeper reflection: Saturn, Aries and Neptune

While Mercury and Venus are down in the underworld, Saturn, the lead planet, is retrograde in Aries. It turned retrograde on 26 July at 14° Aries and turns direct on 10 December at 7° Aries. It's walking back over ground it has already covered.

Aries rules the head. Saturn is sitting in the sign of the head right now. The first heavy metal shown in the transmission was a helmet clamped around the cranium. It's hard to get more literal than that.

Aries is ruled by Mars, and Mars's metal is iron. In the transmission the earth was gathering a pool of iron and mercury. Lead (Saturn) is sitting in iron's house (Mars), and both metals came up in the clear-out.

Saturn is in its fall in Aries. Traditionally it's one of Saturn's weakest placements. Saturn's walls and Aries's need to move freely don't sit easily together, so the old armour doesn't hold as well. The structures crack.

The retrograde is a review. Saturn retrograde asks us to look again at what we've built. Here, that's the armour under inspection. Does this protection still serve me, or is it just weight?

Neptune is in Aries too. Earlier this year Saturn and Neptune met at 0° Aries, the very start of the zodiac. Saturn builds walls and Neptune dissolves them. Neptune's waters meeting Saturn's structure could be read as the seed of what came through: hard things softening into liquid.

So this is how it lines up. Mercury and Venus are in the underworld, gathering and carrying. Saturn is retrograde in Aries, reviewing and loosening the armour around the head. The full moon in Taurus gives the earth the job of receiving it all. When Saturn turns direct on 10 December, it's a natural point to notice what's been rebuilt, with less lead in it.

Another layer: the sidereal moon in Ashwini

In the tropical zodiac, which is fixed to the seasons, this full moon falls at 2°46′ Taurus. In the sidereal zodiac used in Vedic astrology, which is fixed to the stars, the two systems have drifted about 24 degrees apart. There the same moon sits at around 8–9° Aries.

The first stretch of sidereal Aries is the nakshatra Ashwini. It belongs to the Ashwini Kumaras, the twin horse-headed physicians of the gods: divine healers of fast recovery and rejuvenation. Ashwini is ruled by Ketu, the south node, which is about release, letting go of the past and karma being cleared.

So in that system this is a healers' moon in a place of release.

The two readings don't cancel each other out. Tropically it's a Taurus moon: the body, the earth, worth, the earth receiving what's let go. Sidereally it's an Aries moon in Ashwini: the head, fire, healing and release. The transmission held both. The armour came off the head, the earth took it in, and the body was renewed.

The eight-spoked wheel: sitting at the centre

Near the end of the transmission I was shown an eight-spoked dharma wheel, like an old ship's steering wheel, lying on the ground with us sitting in the very centre. Eight works as an axis point, and it ties directly to the Earth, Sun and Moon axis.

The Wheel of the Year has eight spokes. The four big turning points are the two solstices and two equinoxes. That's the Earth and Sun axis, the same frame the tropical zodiac is built on. Halfway between each pair is a cross-quarter festival: Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhain. Together they make eight spokes on a wheel laid flat on the land, which is exactly how I saw it, on the ground with us sitting at the centre.

Samhain is this week. It falls on 31 October and 1 November, and the astronomical midpoint lands a week or so later, around mid-Scorpio. It's the festival of the underworld and the thinning veil, where the old year dies back into the earth. So the spoke we're about to pass through carries the same theme as everything here: Mercury and Venus below, the earth taking back what's released.

The Moon has eight phases. New, crescent, first quarter, gibbous, full, and the same back down again. So the Moon's cycle forms an eight-spoked wheel too.

The dharma wheel has eight spokes for the Noble Eightfold Path. The spokes are the path. The hub at the centre is stillness, the place that turns everything without moving itself. In the transmission I didn't have to go anywhere. The doors opened and things came into alignment while I sat still in the middle.

The ship's wheel shape matters too. A ship's wheel is for steering. Sitting at its centre means being at the helm, choosing your direction from the still point. That matches ordering from the menu of the universe rather than chasing it.

Infinity and the hub. An eight lying on its side is the infinity symbol. And the centre of a wheel is called its hub. Infinity, hub. I may already have built that into the name of my work without knowing quite why.

So eight is the full turning of Earth, Sun and Moon, and the centre is where we stand to steer it.

Venus, Earth and the five-petalled rose

Eight is also Venus's number. Every eight Earth years, Venus and Earth come back to almost the same place together. Venus goes around the Sun thirteen times in that time.

In those eight years Venus meets the Sun from our view five times, each time during her retrograde, her descent. If you mark those five meeting points around the zodiac and join them, they draw a five-pointed star. Trace Venus's full path from Earth over the eight years and it makes a five-petalled rose.

So each Venus retrograde is one petal of the rose. The descent we're in now, with Venus in the underworld alongside Mercury, is one of those five points being drawn.

The rose came through in the transmission too. The rose feeding into its stem, the stem into the rose, heart and spine not separate but one flow. While Venus draws her rose in the sky, we open the rose of the heart into the stem of the body.

Eight years for the Earth. Five petals for Venus. The wheel and the rose, turning together.

The last Scorpio petal: a hundred years of Venus

The heart of each Venus retrograde is the moment she meets the Sun. This time that happened on 24 October at 0°45′ Scorpio. These meetings are the five points of the rose.

Because eight Earth years don't line up perfectly with Venus's cycle, each point slips back about 2.4 degrees every eight years. At that pace, one point takes roughly a hundred years to cross a whole sign.

At 0°45′, this meeting sits right at the doorway of Scorpio. The previous ones in this series were in 2018, 2010 and 2002, each a little further into the sign. Eight years from now the point will have slipped back into Libra. This is the final Scorpio petal of the series.

Working backwards, this Scorpio point entered the sign around 1930 (approximate). That's the Great Depression after the 1929 crash and the run-up to the Second World War. It's the time I spoke of in the transmission: giving our power away after the wars, the financial crisis, the bull of Taurus and money. Venus has spent about a century working that Scorpio material through the generations. This descent closes the loop before the point moves on.

As for where Venus is right now: she turned retrograde at 8° Scorpio on 3 October, slipped back into Libra on 25 October, turns direct at 22° Libra on 13 November, and re-enters Scorpio on 4 December. Mercury stays retrograde in Scorpio the whole time and turns direct on the same day as Venus.

The golden spiral: 5, 8, 13

The Venus cycle is written in Fibonacci numbers, the sequence where each number is the two before it added together: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21.

  • 5 meetings with the Sun, the points of the rose

  • 8 Earth years for the pattern to complete

  • 13 Venus orbits in that time

Divide neighbouring Fibonacci numbers and you get closer and closer to 1.618, the golden ratio that the golden spiral of life is built on. 13 ÷ 8 = 1.625. Venus and Earth dance at almost exactly the golden proportion.

The pentagram carries the golden ratio inside it. In a five-pointed star, the long lines and the short segments hold the golden ratio again and again, all the way in. The star Venus draws in the sky is a golden figure in its very geometry.

The rose follows it too. Wild roses have five petals, and the petals and seeds of many flowers grow in Fibonacci numbers, spiralling out at close to the golden angle. The rose Venus traces in the sky and the rose in the hedgerow follow the same pattern.

It's a near fit, not an exact one. That slight imperfection is exactly why the star points drift and take about a hundred years to move through a sign. If the fit were exact, the rose would never turn.

The wheel of eight, the rose of five and the golden spiral are all part of the same pattern.

Venus dates from Cafe Astrology and Sally Kirkman.

The turning: new beginnings seeded in the dark

It feels like the dharma wheel and everything happening in the sky is setting us up for new beginnings. As the old collapses and releases, it's like a literal turn that suddenly brings everything into alignment. In the transmission I saw multiple circles turning like the dials of a safe, all coming into line in divine timing until it unlocked.

Venus's new cycle has already begun. A Venus cycle starts when she meets the Sun, and that happened on 24 October, two days before this full moon, down in the underworld. Nothing shows yet. Now Venus rises out of the Sun's glare as the morning star at dawn, like Inanna coming back up. The beginning starts in the dark, before anything is visible.

The wheels turn within weeks of each other.

13 November - Mercury and Venus both turn direct, on the same day

10 December - Saturn turns direct in Aries

15 December - Venus leaves her shadow, the ground she retraced, and moves into new territory

7 January - Venus leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius

Several circles reach their point within weeks. Then something gives, and the door opens. Venus finally walks out of Scorpio into Sagittarius: fire, truth, freedom, a wider horizon.

What leaving her shadow means. During a retrograde, Venus moves backwards over a stretch of the zodiac. This time it was 22° Libra back to 8° Scorpio. That stretch is her shadow. After she turns direct on 13 November, she walks the same ground a third time to get back to where she first turned. That happens on 15 December, when she passes 8° Scorpio again. Until then she's still reworking and integrating old ground. From then on, every step is into territory she hasn't covered in this cycle. That's the real moving on.

7 January: into Sagittarius. Venus has already been direct since 13 November. On 7 January she finally leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius. After the underworld depths of Scorpio, Sagittarius is fire, truth, freedom, faith and a wider horizon. It's a fitting sign for the morning star to step into as a hundred-year chapter closes.

An invitation, not a guarantee. The sky is offering a real turning point. A hundred-year Venus chapter is closing, and Saturn is reviewing the armour. But a reset isn't something done to us. Two people can move through the same sky, and one comes out the same while the other comes out sovereign. The difference is the conscious work.

That's the value of sacred conscious embodiment practice. Sitting with the body, breathing, feeling, letting the messenger show us what's false and letting it go, layer by layer through the subconscious and unconscious programming. The sky sets the timing. Our presence decides what we do with it.

These weeks are the time for sowing seeds. As Venus rises as the morning star, leaves her shadow and steps into the fire of Sagittarius, what we've planted in the dark has room to grow.

The wheel is turning, and we're sitting at the centre, choosing.
