We have been taught that the divine feminine belongs to women — and that men must remain untouched by it. This is perhaps the most damaging lie the system ever told. Not only to women, but to men themselves.
The masculine and feminine are not opposites at war. They are two sacred polarities seeking reunion — within every human being, within every body, within every life. When that reunion is severed — by conditioning, by caregiving systems that were themselves wounded, by a culture that distorted both archetypes beyond recognition — we carry the consequences in our bodies, our relationships, our mental and emotional health, our very sense of self.
She was told her feeling body was weakness. Too emotional, too wild, too sensitive. She learned to make herself small, to over-give, to seek love through self-erasure.
He was told his interior world didn't exist. That strength meant silence. He learned to perform, to armour, to live disconnected from his own body and deeper truth.
Both are expressions of the same severance. The false masculine — stoicism, dominance, disconnection from feeling — was never strength. It was armour. Built over something tender, something real, something that was never permitted to breathe. And it is carried in the body — in the tissues, the nervous system, the ancestral field — until the conditions are created for it to be alchemised.
A man raised in the shadow of wounded masculine modelling may carry shame about his own nature before he has even had a chance to express it. That shame is not his truth. It is his inheritance. And it can be alchemised.
This work does not ask you to become less of a man. It asks you to become more fully yourself — feeling and grounded, strong and receptive, sovereign in your own body and truth. The sacred reunion of masculine and feminine within you is not a diminishment of either. It is the restoration of wholeness.
You do not need to name it perfectly to begin. Recognition in the body is enough.
The womb is spoken of often in women's healing work — and rightly so. But the energetic centre it represents — the seat of creative power, life force, sovereign will and deep knowing — exists within the male body too, in its own sacred expression.
Located in the lower abdomen, the hara is the man's energetic centre — the place in the body where life force is held, where creative power originates, where authentic will and deep intuition arise. In most men, it has never been consciously inhabited. It has been performing — generating, pushing, striving — without ever being truly known. Returning a man to his hara is returning him to his own source. Not to the feminine. To his own masculine ground.
