Mental Clarity through Heart Conscious Grounding

EMBODYING MENTAL CLARITY THAT CAN ONLY BE BORNE FROM HEART GROUNDED CONSCIOUSNESS

Recalibrating & Rebirthing on a Cellular & Embryonic Level

This channelled meditation facilitated a journey of profound release, healing, and rebirth through descent into both the depths of the body and the Earth itself. By awakening the crystallised light within the bones and clearing old patterns from the nervous system, participants were guided to shed ancestral burdens and limiting identities.

In the deep rest of Earth's golden caverns, neural rewiring occurred naturally, allowing a return to original purity and truth. The journey honoured the body's wisdom, worked through layers of healing at a pace the nervous system could integrate, and ultimately grounded participants back into their sovereign power—clear, whole, and radiating their authentic light whilst remaining deeply rooted in Earth's supportive presence.

It took us on a journey of connection to the light that is deep within us, deep to our bones, the stardust that has created us, the consciousness that brought life to us. A gentle process of reconnection and remembering the light that we are, to bring clarity and realignment, deep to our central nervous system and generating new neural pathways to what is our truth, beyond the illusions and conditioning.

This meditation supports you to find your true deep inner roots within and to Earth, to bring a sense of calm and peace to the nervous system, and I believe will be especially great for you If you are experiencing any of the following:

  • Stress, overwhelm, burnout

  • Mental Health, times of Anxiety, Depression and Melancholy

  • Neural issues, Neuralgia - Sciatica

  • Brain Fog, Procrastination

  • Feeling stuck, hopelessness

  • Adrenal Fatigue - Fatigue

  • Releasing fears, patterns and conditions of fears and attachments

  • Enabling the process of transformation with ease and grace.

  • Clearing of energy field from distortions and entity attachments

So, welcome, beautiful souls. This guided meditation and visualisation journey is being recorded literally the day after the Super Full Moon of Gemini.

And the intention is to tune into the energies that are present at this point, and seed them into our bodies, into our bones, into our blood, and even seeding into Earth. I feel we are the vessels of grounding this hugely universal energy into the Earth. We are the connector of both.

And so we become this vessel of grounding of this.

To see where this will take us, because once we ground and seed this energy, it's accessible at each time, it'll become accessible throughout every different part of the year, because healing is this spiral, time isn't linear, and so these essences will come up at certain points in our lives, to then resurface in a way to give us that extra layer to work through, because we can't do everything all at the same time.

It would be too much for our systems, our nervous systems, everything. So, healing takes its layers, and this for me, is ultimately the way to go, because if we try and push anything, force anything, we can possibly retraumatise ourselves, or put ourselves through too much, and then the nervous system will lock down again, especially if you've experienced trauma. So this is about healing with grace and comfort in the gentle way that our bodies know best.

The two cards that have come and shown themselves for today. One is Kali, because we're navigating what is the void of winter, and Kali has come through to me, loud and proud and strong, to support through this journey, through the darkness, the six months, ultimately, of that darker side of the year. And how to navigate our shadows, our fears, our illusions, that run deep within us, deep to our DNA.

We have Matangi, and I will read her invocation when we start this. She is the essence of the outsider. She is able to see the beauty through the poison. She can see the light, she can see the belief of worthiness. Every time we've felt lonely, or the outsider, not seen, not heard, not valued. She brings this forward for us. She helps us to be seen, to be heard, to bring in that abundance, which, actually was the next card, which was Abundance. So we will call her in to support us on this journey, wherever it takes us.

I feel we'll be going deep to the earth, deep through those layers, our fears, which may well be the fears of being seen. As much as we want to be seen, as much as we would like abundance in these different forms, there may also be a fear that sits very deep in our unconscious body as well.

The invocation for Matangi.

Raja Matangi, Queen of Outcasts, Who dwells beyond society and thrives. You arise at the thresholds in the spaces of desolation, abandonment, and banishment. You are strength and sweetness. You are the extraordinary power that arises when all seems lost. You provide the knowledge needed to succeed, and the path to overcome all obstacles through the power of the joyful spirit. May your wisdom manifest through all capable channels for the spiritual benefits of all beings. May our playful hearts take delight in yours. Jai Ma Kali.

Reflection

This was awakening the light within our bones, our DNA to become the crystallised golden structure of strength and integrity - once it did it went to our skeletal system, expanded by our hearts and into the cranium, cerebellum, the atlas major chakra (back-base of head), to clear all attachments, distortions, entities from our mind.

To no longer feed fear of thought into our mind, which I know from experience, for this is where entities will attach to our nervous systems believing it is our thought, feeding ego, separation and fear - the meditation created a golden orb of light to protect this vulnerable access point.

Once sealed in golden light it expanded into the brain, the limbic system - our emotional centre, the amygdala (conditioned fear responses and memory of survival), the pineal and pituitary gland, expanding to release fascial tension within the cranium, temporal and cranium.

The crown of the cranium, parietal suture, which is soft when we are born to pass through the birthing canal - in the meditation it became soft again to release all that no longer serves and nor ours to carry.

This eventually became an expanded golden crystalline structure and sphere, the Golden Spiral-Febonaci Sequence, which our cranium, bodies and all life is created from, the greater the external pressure, the stronger the structure became.

Old skins and layers fell away like old leaves in to the Earth, releasing burdens, responsibilities, ancestral trauma and patterning into the Earth to finally decompose. Yet at the root of this process, we absorbed the light of wisdom, insight anf emotional intelligence, our inner gold and resonance.

Upon which we descended into Mother Earth, the roots, mycelium, caverns and Hollow Earth, feeling a presence of unconditional love and support, yet nothing came, as this was a time for no activations nor upgrades, this was simply and beautifully just rest, nourishment and the permission to be still and integrate, the true depth of the feminine.

Cycles and season spun above us, unwinding and recalibrating, yet we were cosied up and hibernating in our golden light within a vacuum, a hollowed root and capsule of calm and peace, this was happening beyond our consciousness, deep to our subconscious mind and unconscious body.

Gradually, we began to reform, witnessing ourselves as an embryo, the translucent central nervous system, the mind and spine, the Cerebrospinal Fluid, from sacral to skin - to the body growing.

It called in all parts of time where we hadn’t felt witnessed, heard, valued, loved, safe and supported- to be healed and integrated into this renewal - to allow time and compassion to reconfigure - for all lifetimes of stress and resitance to leave our systems.

When the time was right and aligned, the gentle nudge of Mother Earth gave us that reassuring lift to start the ascension back to the surface of Earth - our golden roots woven into the silver roots of the mycelium (which I believe are activated by the full moon light), Masculine and Feminine, Sun and Moon, Soul and Spirit.

To return to the surface to witness the golden essence, the sap rising within the trees, the Golden Persephone rising into Spring, from her sleep of Winter The full colour opening life, or purity and vibrancy, gradually returning to our bodies, our hips, our skin a-glow with light.

This meditation felt most profound in that it worked deep into the mind and nervous system, to heal and calm. It felt like we were witnessing the depth of Winter, how Earth restores herself and upon such rises gently into the Spring in true pure health. -

Enjoy

Scientific Framework for the Guided Meditation

Neuroscience and Embodied Healing

Interoception and Body Awareness The meditation's emphasis on deep body awareness activates the insula, a brain region responsible for interoception—our sense of the body's internal state. Research shows that increased interoceptive awareness correlates with improved emotional regulation and reduced anxiety. By directing attention systematically through the body, participants strengthen neural pathways between the insula and prefrontal cortex, enhancing self-awareness and emotional processing.

Polyvagal Theory and Nervous System Regulation The guided practice of grounding through the hips, spine, and breath directly engages the vagus nerve, the primary component of the parasympathetic nervous system. Stephen Porges' Polyvagal Theory explains how feeling safe and supported (as repeatedly emphasised in the meditation) shifts the autonomic nervous system from sympathetic (fight/flight) or dorsal vagal (freeze/shutdown) states into ventral vagal activation—the state of social engagement, rest, and healing. The meditation's slow pace, soothing language, and emphasis on safety create the neurophysiological conditions for this shift.

Trauma Release and the Body The concept of releasing "old patterns" and allowing them to "fall away" aligns with somatic psychology and trauma research. Bessel van der Kolk's work demonstrates that trauma is stored in the body, not just the mind. The meditation's gentle approach—emphasising that "healing takes its layers" and warning against forcing or rushing—reflects trauma-informed principles. By creating safety first, then slowly accessing deep body sensations, the practice allows the nervous system to release held trauma without re-traumatisation.

Bone Biology and Cellular Intelligence

Bones as Living Tissue The meditation's focus on bones as containing "crystallised light" has a scientific parallel: bones are highly metabolically active organs. They contain bone marrow that produces blood cells, store minerals, and constantly remodel themselves. Osteocytes (bone cells) form an interconnected network throughout the bone matrix, communicating via tiny channels called canaliculi—creating what could be described as a crystalline communication network within our skeletal structure.

Piezoelectricity in Bone Bones exhibit piezoelectric properties—they generate small electrical charges when mechanically stressed. This property, discovered by the Curie brothers, means bones literally conduct and respond to electrical signals. The meditation's imagery of "light within bones" and "crystallised DNA" poetically captures this bioelectrical reality.

Bone-Brain Axis Recent research has revealed that bones communicate directly with the brain through hormones like osteocalcin, which influences memory, mood, and anxiety. This emerging understanding of the bone-brain axis supports the meditation's intuitive linking of skeletal and neural healing.

The Pituitary Gland and Vasopressin

Vasopressin (Antidiuretic Hormone) The meditation specifically mentions the pituitary gland during the work with the brain. The pituitary, often called the "master gland," releases vasopressin (also called ADH—antidiuretic hormone), which has fascinating connections to the meditation's themes:

Vasopressin and Social Bonding Beyond its role in water retention, vasopressin is crucial for social memory, pair bonding, and stress response. It works in concert with oxytocin (also released by the pituitary) to regulate social behaviours and emotional states. The meditation's invocation of Matangi—addressing feelings of being an outsider and calling in the experience of being "seen and heard"—may neurochemically relate to these bonding neuropeptides.

Stress Response Regulation Vasopressin is released during stress and plays a role in the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Chronic stress dysregulates this system. The meditation's deep relaxation state may help reset HPA axis function, reducing excessive vasopressin release and promoting homeostasis.

Hibernation, Torpor, and Deep Rest States

Mammalian Torpor and Metabolic Slowdown The meditation's imagery of "gentle hibernation" and descending into Earth to rest whilst "cycles spin above" mirrors the biological state of torpor—a controlled reduction in metabolic rate, body temperature, and physiological activity. Whilst humans don't truly hibernate, we do experience similar states:

Torpor-like States in Humans Recent research suggests humans may enter torpor-like states during deep meditation, certain sleep stages, or extreme situations. These states are characterised by:

  • Reduced metabolic rate (up to 10-30% below baseline in deep meditation)

  • Decreased heart rate and breathing

  • Altered brain wave patterns (increased theta and delta waves)

  • Reduced core body temperature

  • Neuroprotective effects

Vasopressin's Role in Hibernation In hibernating mammals, vasopressin plays a crucial role in:

  • Maintaining fluid balance during months without water intake

  • Regulating circadian rhythms during extended dormancy

  • Neuroprotection during periods of reduced cerebral blood flow

  • Memory consolidation during torpor states

Studies on hibernating mammals show that their brains undergo remarkable preservation and even enhancement during dormancy, with synaptic connections being refined and strengthened during rest periods.

The Meditation's "Hibernation" as Neural Consolidation The guided descent into Earth for rest, where "neural systems drop into peace" and participants witness their "neural system growing, remembering," scientifically parallels what occurs during:

  1. Sleep and Memory Consolidation: During deep sleep, the brain's glymphatic system clears metabolic waste, including beta-amyloid proteins associated with neurodegeneration. The imagery of "pure flow" and "gentle rivers" in Earth's caverns poetically captures this cleansing process.

  2. Neuroplasticity During Rest: Contrary to older beliefs, significant neural rewiring occurs during rest states, not just during active learning. The meditation's suggestion that "your neural system is growing, remembering" whilst at rest aligns with research showing that consolidation and integration of new neural patterns happens during quiet, restorative states.

  3. Default Mode Network Activation: During restful, internally-focused states like meditation, the brain's Default Mode Network (DMN) activates. This network is associated with self-referential processing, memory consolidation, and integration of experiences—essentially the "rebirthing" and "rewiring" described in the meditation.

Neuroplasticity and "Rebirthing"

Neural Rewiring Through Meditation The meditation's imagery of witnessing "the embryo growing... the primitive mind, the spine, the neural tube" and "regrowing" reflects actual neuroplastic changes that occur through sustained meditation practice:

  • Increased grey matter density in areas associated with self-awareness, compassion, and introspection (particularly the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex)

  • Reduced amygdala volume (the fear centre mentioned in the meditation)

  • Enhanced connectivity between brain regions

  • Thickening of the prefrontal cortex associated with attention and emotional regulation

Critical Period Reopening Emerging research suggests that meditative and restorative states may temporarily reopen "critical periods"—windows of heightened neuroplasticity typically associated with early development. This could explain the meditation's powerful imagery of returning to embryonic states and "bringing love to points in time that needed to be witnessed, seen, heard, held."

Electromagnetic Fields and Heart-Brain Coherence

The Heart's Electromagnetic Field The meditation repeatedly brings attention to the heart and describes it radiating light. The heart generates the body's strongest electromagnetic field—about 60 times greater in amplitude than the brain's and detectable several feet away from the body. HeartMath Institute research demonstrates that:

  • Heart rhythm coherence (smooth, ordered heart rate variability patterns) occurs during positive emotional states and meditation

  • This coherence influences brain function, improving cognitive performance and emotional stability

  • The heart's field may facilitate communication between individuals (supporting the meditation's themes of connection and being "seen")

Heart-Brain Communication The heart sends more signals to the brain than vice versa, via neural, hormonal, pressure, and electromagnetic pathways. The meditation's emphasis on "heart consciousness" and bringing the "left and right brain into your heart" reflects this bidirectional communication and the heart's role in modulating perception and emotional processing.

Grounding, Earthing, and the Body's Bioelectrical System

Earthing Science The meditation's extensive work with connecting to Earth has a physiological basis. Research on "earthing" or "grounding"—direct physical contact with the Earth's surface—shows:

  • Reduced inflammation through electron transfer from the Earth

  • Improved heart rate variability and autonomic nervous system balance

  • Reduced cortisol levels and improved circadian rhythms

  • Enhanced wound healing and immune response

The Earth maintains a negative electrical charge, and direct contact allows free electrons to flow into the body, potentially neutralising oxidative stress.

The Mycelium Network and Neural Networks

Biological Parallel The meditation's imagery of descending through "mycelium, this beautiful luminescent network" creates a stunning parallel between:

  • Fungal mycelial networks ("Wood Wide Web") that connect trees and facilitate nutrient and information exchange

  • Neural networks in the brain with their billions of interconnected synapses

  • Fascial networks in the body that connect every structure and transmit mechanical and biochemical signals

All three represent distributed intelligence systems without a central command centre—aligning with the meditation's emphasis on the body's inherent wisdom.

Synthesis: A Scientifically-Grounded Journey

This guided meditation weaves together multiple scientifically-supported mechanisms for healing and transformation:

  1. Parasympathetic activation through safety cues and slow breathing

  2. Interoceptive enhancement through systematic body scanning

  3. Somatic release of held trauma through gentle awareness

  4. Neuroplastic changes facilitated by focused attention and rest

  5. Neuroendocrine regulation through the pituitary-hypothalamic axis

  6. Heart-brain coherence through heart-focused awareness

  7. Metabolic restoration through deep rest states (similar to torpor)

  8. Bioelectrical grounding through connection with Earth

The meditation's "descent into Earth for hibernation" specifically engages vasopressin-related pathways for neuroprotection, stress regulation, and the consolidation of healing during deep rest—mirroring the remarkable preservation and enhancement that occurs in hibernating mammals' nervous systems.

Rather than being purely metaphorical, this guided journey appears to be an intuitive, poetic articulation of complex physiological processes that science is only beginning to fully understand.

For transparency, this reflection is AI generated. I it find most fascinating, as I prompted it to look into vasopressin and hibernation to bring as much science to what was shown.

We are far more powerful in our health and wellbeing than we realise!
